Our service is designed to take all the stress out of dinners at home. Meal planning for your family is a time-consuming, complicated task. One must choose the meals, plan the grocery list, shop and transport the food home and into the pantry, chop, brown and cook the meal and then clean all the dishes. Often, after a long day of working, running errands, and everything else that comes with your busy life it is difficult to shop and prepare a balanced meal. Too often, we make convenient purchases at the store of frozen entrees filled with all sorts of preservatives or out of desperation, stop at a drive-thru on the way home for a quick fix.

Lynnie Heltne grew up cooking and entertaining friends and family in Orinda, California learning premium cooking skills from her mother, aunt, and sisters. After receiving a degree in Biological Sciences at UC Davis, she worked for several years for a medical group in Berkeley, and in the summer of 1989, a decision was made to escape the traffic in the Bay Area and move to the Napa Valley to learn the art and science of winemaking.
After living in Calistoga for the last 18 years and working as an Enologist and Lab Design Consultant, Lynnie continues to entertain friends, family and coworkers using her culinary talents hosting Caribbean Jerk BBQ’s, Harvest Celebrations, Elegant Spring Brunches and even won First Place for the Best Mustard at the 1995 Napa Valley Mustard Festival. She continues to make and locally distribute her elegant, sweet hot mustard, Sweet Surprise and incorporates it into many secret recipes.

On average, people enjoy eating out or barbequing on the weekends because time is abundant. With this in mind, the cost for service is based upon 4-5 dinner entrees paired with a healthy side dish (20 entrees total: serving 2-4 people). More entrees can be prepared to suit your customized lifestyle and entertaining needs at an extra charge.
A lot of time and devotion goes into providing you with the best-customized service possible. Fee increases if you request all organic products. Breakfast, lunch and food parties can be prepared, as well, for additional charges. DINNER’S DONE can also prepare special dietary needs and weight management options. It’s all designed around you, your lifestyle, your needs, and your preferences.
